If you want to become a lawyer then you should know that there are certain things that you will not be taught at a law school.  Also, these skills you should have because clients will look at these things as well when they look to find a lawyer. Let’s take a look at some of these skills.

Listening skills

In a law school, you will learn how to listen to the various facts and figures of the case in order to run the legal analysis. What they will not teach you is how to make your clients feel that you are listening to them minutely because this is very important especially given the fact that clients love to be felt important and if you don’t listen to what they are saying or in other words, make them feel that you are listening then you may not be getting the work.

Managing Unwanted Consequences

In a case, there will be a lot of unwanted consequences that will arise. It is the skill of the lawyer that will help his clients to avoid such unprecedented events. But, this is a thing that you will not learn in a law school. You have to develop this skill over a period of time.

Creative Work

Now, many believe that there is no need of creativity in a lawyer. However, this is a thing that makes the difference.
